Over the years I have co-produced ten shows in town and as many on tour, and I have no hesitation in saying that Emma Martin is the best marketing professional I have worked with - intelligent, focussed, effective and budget-aware. Nice, too. What more do you need? She’s the best.
Emma supported Park Theatre’s marketing for a 3 – 4 month period during our Spektrix migration. This included delivering on the marketing campaign for Madame Rubinstein, website updates, social media management, proofing assets, building and managing shows on Spektrix and running press nights. Emma provided us with such a high level of support during a very busy time for the organisation, we felt very reassured having her demonstrable skills and experience in the team. We have since introduced Emma to a number of other producers at our venue; we are always very pleased to consider Emma an extension of the Sales & Marketing team on notable projects such as Twilight Song, Twitstorm, Hamlet and The Secondary Victim. Emma is friendly, professional, knowledgeable about marketing and knows how to jump right in to the organisation she’s supporting and hit the ground running. We highly recommend bringing Emma on board!
Emma is a joy to work with, and is a richly experienced arts marketing manager. She has a passion for drama and theatre, and an understanding of the targetting of very limited resources (human and financial) to have the most effect on maximising audience or participation.
The Other Palace have worked with Emma on a number of projects, she is a pleasure to work with, thorough and considered and always happy to step in and help out. The ability to work with someone who has an overview of both marketing and press has been invaluable for the small projects we house as a building. I would highly recommend her.
Emma is dedicated, enthusiastic and disciplined in her approach. The productions managed to return a profit to our investors and she helped us build stronger relations both with audiences directly and our touring partners across the united kingdom. She works on limited resources and with a very small team and constantly delivers results, meeting and exceeding targets. She would be an asset to any theatre or arts organisation.
